How To Make Paella: Paella is a Spanish rice dish which is basically originated from Valencia. It’s one of the best and most popular dishes in Spanish cuisine. It is the main course dish and tastes best when served hot. It mainly consists of rice, chicken, vegetables, and saffrons. Now enjoy making delicious paella at home.

How To Make Paella

Ingredients used to make Paella:-

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 2 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 spoon of red pepper flakes(crushed).
  • 2 cups of uncooked short-grain white rice
  • 1 pinch of saffron threads
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Half bunch of Italian flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1-quart chicken stock
  • 2 lemons, zested
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Spanish onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 1 pound chorizo sausage and casings removed and crumbled
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined



  • Take a medium-sized bowl; now add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix all the ingredients properly with help of a spoon.
  • Now stir in chicken pieces to coat. Cover it and keep it in the refrigerator for some hours.
  • Take a big frying pan, keep it on a gas stove, and heat it on a high flame. Add 2 spoons of olive oil to it.
  • Now add garlic, red pepper flakes, and rice to and Cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes.
  • Now add saffron threads, bay leaf, parsley, chicken stock, and lemon zest
  • The Ingredients to a boil, cover it, and reduce heat to medium or low flame and cook for about 20 minutes
  • Again take a pan and heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in it over medium flame.
  • Stir marinated chicken and onion in it and cook for 5 minutes. Noe adds bell pepper and sausage to it and cook more 5 minutes.
  • Cook, turning the shrimp until both sides are pink.
  • At last spread rice mixture onto a serving tray. Top with meat and seafood mixture.
  • Now our delicious dish is prepared and ready for it. Serve it and enjoy eating it with your loved ones.
